CAHSEE Agreement - PDF
The CAHSEE Compact, produced by the San Diego County Achievement Gap Task Force, is a plan to eliminate the achievement gap that exists among various populations in San Diego County with the target of ensuring all students achieve high levels of performance. The initial indicator is mathematics performance as measured by the mathematics portion of the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE). The plan, directed to districts, schools, SDCOE, and CSU's, aims to provide:
- A qualified mathematics teacher for each student
- A rigorous mathematics curriculum for each student
- Extended learning time for students who have not yet passed the mathematics portion of the CAHSEE
- Monitoring and dissemination of results and best practices
The CAHSEE Compact Information and Update Sheet, produced by the San Diego County Office of Education's Mathematics Team, discusses the following topics:
- The Achievement Gap Task Force
- CAHSEE Graduation Requirement
- All School Districts Need To Be Involved
- Algebra 1 Graduation Requirement
- What is New About the CAHSEE Compact Effort?
